Ky-Mani, who is among the best-known and wealthiest Reggae singers was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He starred in the legendary film Shottas alongside another artist Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani released his debut album, titled Like Father Like Son in 1996. It was then followed with Dear Dad", which was a top-ranked album in charts in the British reggae charts. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell of Fugees on Avenue in 1997. It proved to be a massively hit cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue.
