Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani, who is among the best-known and wealthiest Reggae singers was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He starred in the legendary film Shottas alongside another artist Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani released his debut album, titled Like Father Like Son in 1996. It was then followed with Dear Dad", which was a top-ranked album in charts in the British reggae charts. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell of Fugees on Avenue in 1997. It proved to be a massively hit cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley performed at the Midem show (an international music showcase) that was the first time it was held in Miami. Marley's performance on stage at Cameo Theatre was broadcast live across 36 countries via Caribbean News Agency. Marley became the subject of bidding battles.
